Name:Dennis C Creevey
Bio:

Dennis Christopher Creevey

PLACE OF BIRTH/CURRENT RESIDENCE: Coventry, England, with his wife and daughter.
PETS: He and Emma both still have the kittens they got in fourth year, Pippin and Dundee, obviously older cats now.
HOUSE: Gryffindor
YEAR: 2001

FAMILY: Dennis is the middle child of Daniel and Maeve Creevey. His dad is a milkman, and has been for as long as Dennis can remember. His older brother is, of course, Colin - older brother and role model. They've a little sister named Elizabeth, nicknamed Bess, and though she's an adult now, she's still Dennis' 'baby sister'. In addition, Dennis is married to his childhood best friend and sweetheart, Emma Dobbs, and they have a little girl named Constance. He's also got a niece named Kyleigh and a nephew named Chase.

HISTORY:

Dennis was born into the Creevey family just two years after his older brother Colin. They were often called cookie-cutters by the rest of the family, because little Dennis wanted to be just like Colin. Unlike some siblings, who would've been annoyed by the attention and tried to push their younger siblings away, Colin protected Dennis, allowing him to tag along and often initiating their games and playtimes. Dennis followed Colin wherever possible, and learned most everything he knew from watching his brother do so.

That all had to change, however, when the Creeveys received a highly unexpected surprise. When Dennis was nine, Colin received his letter, telling him he was a wizard and inviting him to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Dennis was, for the first time in his entire life, jealous of his older brother. Colin was his role model, his other half. With him gone off to Hogwarts, Dennis felt very alone, left with nothing but his school friends and his brand new baby sister, who cried constantly and kept him awake when he needed his sleep for school.

Eventually, though, after Colin's life was placed in danger, Dennis found himself being less jealous and more proud. Even moreso when Colin was saved. He found himself getting very used to sending post through owls and keeping the secret of his brother's schooling a secret. There were even times when he wondered if it was at all possible that he, himself, was a wizard, too. It ran in families, didn't it? And he could do weird things that he couldn't quite explain. When he needed a red crayon, and his broke, one of the green ones had turned red. And when he got tired of his mum always sending him to school with ham sandwiches, he opened his bag one day to find turkey. Sure, they could be coincidences. But he knew, deep down, that they weren't.

So the Creeveys weren't all that surprised to receive another owl the year Dennis turned eleven. They embraced the idea, and sent their youngest off to school after yet another trip to Diagon Alley--where they admittedly felt awkward. Wand proudly in hand, Dennis marched off to Platform 9 3/4 with Colin during his second year. His fall in the Great Lake and assist from the Giant Squid pretty much sold him. Dennis was madly in love with being a wizard, and with Hogwarts school in general. There was something amazing about being thrust into it all headfirst, and with Colin there to show him everything, it was even better. So when Colin mentioned that the great Harry Potter was going to be starting a group where he could learn even more Defense Against the Dark Arts and charms and hexes and curses, Dennis was one of the first to volunteer. If Colin was doing it, he was doing it. The only thing he didn't like much was keeping it from his best mate, Emma, but he liked having a secret with Colin that was all their own.

As the war drew on and things got worse, Dennis caught himself growing up far too quickly. A part of him still clung to the stories of his books, that the situations he was facing was just like Sam and Frodo making their way to Mordor. Yes, it was a long journey and yes, things might go wrong along the way. But in the end, they were both just fine. Really. Things got worse, and worse, and he felt himself drawn into the battle. When the DA started again, he was one of the first to sign back up, despite Colin's reservations. And this time, he brought his friends along. It had to happen. Emma's brother was dead, and he felt loads of guilt over it, even if it was something he couldn't have done anything about. It could've just as easily have been his own family, or his little sister. And the fact that it was someone else didn't make it any better, especially when it was Emma.

It wasn't long that he realised why he cared so much for Emma. She wasn't just his best mate. He cared about her. Fancied her. Wanted to be with her. And after a botched effort to tell her and an impromptu snog...from HER, they settled into a young teenaged romance. It was a romance that, once the war was over, despite rocky times, would blossom into the real thing. They were young, but Dennis proposed to Emma when they were still fresh out of Hogwarts. A few years later, they had their first daughter, baby Constance. But after Connie, none seemed to follow. It wasn't for lack of trying. They both came from decent-sized families, and wanted more. But six years have passed and Connie is still an only child.

Aside from apparently being broken and only able to conceive one child, Dennis has settled into his adult life fairly well. He's working as a reporter for Witch Weekly and on the side, is working on his first fantasy novel.
